BOGNOR REGIS, U.K. – WAIglobal UK has launched a new Civil Fabric Face Mask to assist people when travelling to and from work and in the community.

The government announced its support for the use of “face coverings” in enclosed spaces, where people come into contact with other people – including on public transport and shops.

In the government’s “plan to rebuild” document it said: …“people should aim to wear a face-covering in enclosed spaces where social distancing is not always possible and they come into contact with others that they do not normally meet, for example on public transport or in some shops.”

The premium quality material, available in a range of colors, is reusable and machine washable.

The double layered fabric mask comes with an internal filter pocket to insert a PM2.5 filter.

It also features an in-built nose bridge, elasticated fastenings, and contoured shape for the most comfortable fit possible.

“The UK is adjusting to the new normal and we are working with businesses and communities to ensure people are confident and secure when traveling to and from work,” Richard Welland, WAIglobal UK managing director added. “Again, our global supply chain expertise has meant that we can expand our range of personal protective equipment and enhance our work with care homes, NHS and the wider business world.”

WAI, which has distributed more than 200,000 three-layer and KN95 face masks to businesses and donated products to charities, hospices and hospitals, is also supplying the automotive industry with a vehicle disinfectant cleaner, STERI-7.

Steri-7 thoroughly disinfects the inside of a vehicle and kills 99.99 percent of all bacteria, viruses and spores on the surface. Once the inside of the vehicle has been left to dry, a reactive barrier is created on the surface, which will then regenerate to give up to seven days’ added protection.
