BANGKOK – This year’s AsiaBrake conference will, thanks to continuing concerns due to Covid-19, be a virtual event. The following announcement was released by the organizers:

What is the purpose of AsiaBrake?

AsiaBrake focuses on connecting the brake engineering/manufacturing community to the commercial brake world. From the beginning, we have been focusing on providing knowledge and information to the various target groups including engineers, researchers, purchasers, and sales and marketing people. This concept is one of the main reasons why we always include the lecture/keynote segments as part of our conference.

Since debuting in 2015, AsiaBrake has been recognized as one of the brake world’s leading events.

What is the AsiaBrake 2021 Digital Conference?

Due to COVID-19, we decided to postpone AsiaBrake 2020 in Bangkok until February 2022. In 2021, we have undertaken creating a virtual event to bring together the AsiaBrake community. Therefore, we decided to create the AsiaBrake 2021 Digital Conference as a virtual event.

Understanding that everyone has a busy schedule, we have decided to split the event into three small sessions and hold it on three separate Thursdays in March: the 4th, 11th, and 18th.

Each virtual event will be a two-and-a-half-hour session. By following our standard practice, each day will start with lectures by renowned names in the friction world, followed by technical presentations from the brake industry’s sponsors.

The event attendees will get access to the online video presentation for 30 days following the event, so you do not have to worry if the event schedule does not fit your schedule. The attendees will get the download link to all the presentation slides as well.

We hope that the virtual conference will be a tool to keep us together for the short term until we can meet everyone in person again in 2022.
