Textar Expands Brake Ranges

HARTLEPOOL, U.K. — Braking specialist TMD Friction UK has introduced 16 brake pad and disc references to its premium Textar branded product ranges.

TMD Friction UK’s unrelenting approach to research and development has delivered an additional seven Textar brake pads and nine new Textar brake discs, to meet the needs of the constantly expanding vehicle parc.

The new brake pad references cover popular vehicle makes, including Audi, Brabus, Fiat, Genesis, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche, with new pad reference 2468101 fitting a comprehensive range of Mercedes-Benz cars, and reference 2920006 covering various Mercedes-Benz light commercial vehicles.

Textar’s new brake pad part 2556601 fits the Porsche 718 Boxster, Boxster Spyder, and Cayman, plus the 911, 911 Speedster and 911 Cayman models (all 2013-). Newly introduced part 2645101 offers a new brake pad replacement for Fiat 500, 500e and Convertible, and TIPO Estate, Hatchback and Saloon cars (all 2012-).

New Textar brake disc references introduced cover Fiat, Ford, Land Rover, Lexus, Tesla, Toyota, and Volkswagen applications, including part 9231605 for Land Rover Defender, Discovery, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models, and part 92316903 for a wide range of Ford light commercial vehicles including Tourneo and Transit vans (2012-).

TMD Friction UK regularly reviews its parts catalogue to ensure every product offers high performance, full safety, and optimized design. Three new disc introductions supersede previous iterations of Textar’s high end brake discs, with 92232205 replacing 92232203, 92232405 replacing 92232403, and 92268605 replacing 92268603.
