STANSTED, U.K. — FISITA, organizers of EuroBrake, announced this year’s event will be online due to continuing concerns surrounding the global Covid-19 pandemic. The following announcement provides updated information about the annual program.
As you would expect, FISITA and our EuroBrake Steering Committee colleagues have been monitoring the developing Covid situation and taken time to explore all options available regarding the delivery format for 2022. As the situation with Covid remains uncertain, we have collectively taken the decision to invest our time, energy, and resource in delivering EuroBrake 2022 as a high-quality online activity.
This decision has been taken with the best interests of all in mind, you will appreciate that we have a duty of care to you, our community, as well as to the team and all associated with the delivery of a physical conference to do so within a safe environment, which at this time is not fully achievable.

We, therefore, announce that EuroBrake online will take place on May 17-19 and we once again look forward to developing and delivering this year’s engagement with and on behalf of the international EuroBrake community. Registration will open next month.
With quality technical papers submitted from braking experts around the world, FISITA, the Steering Committee, and Programme Development Committee are developing an outstanding event that will feature the usual highly relevant technical sessions, panel discussions, and keynote addresses that are impacting and shaping the future of braking.
We look forward to creating a productive event for everyone.
EuroBrake program
We will be announcing the EuroBrake technical program in early February, which will detail the sessions, papers, and speakers at this year’s event.
