ODENSE MUNICIPALITY, Denmark — In times of massive shortages of raw materials and semi-finished products, Meneta Denmark has expanded series production with another NBR coil coating system.

Meneta is a global original-equipment automotive supplier of fine blanked parts, NVH shims for brake systems and composite materials for sealing applications.

The NBR steel multilayer systems are currently being manufactured on calendering lines at the Odense site in Denmark. With the commissioning of the new liquid NBR coating system, both technologies can now be offered from a single source.

With the calendering and the liquid coating process, a wide range of applications opens up, starting with NBR layer thicknesses of 25 µm, 40 µm, 65 µm to 300 µm. The coatings are applied in a continuous process on one side as well as on both sides to 0.20 to 1.0 mm thick steel strips. Multi-layer systems (NBR steel-NBR steel adhesive) are also possible. For the surfaces, the customer can choose between different textures and (non-stick) coatings.
