Marathon Brake Systems has made strategic additions to its North American sales team to better meet customer needs and adapt to changing market dynamics. These new personnel will support Marathon’s growth in friction products, air disc brake products, and heavy-duty shock absorbers.

Joe Smith has been appointed as Business Development Manager for Marathon in the U.S. and Canada, reporting to the President of Marathon. With over 40 years of commercial truck and trailer brake experience, Mr. Smith has expertise in both drum and air disc products. He has worked for several key friction manufacturers and will collaborate closely with sales and marketing to grow the North American business.
Bruce Williams has been named Marathon’s National Sales Director/National Accounts for the U.S., reporting to the President of Marathon. Mr. Williams has extensive experience at the WD/Dealer level and managing accounts and sales groups for a large multi-product line manufacturer. His background in shock absorbers and brakes is expected to drive further growth in the U.S. heavy-duty market.
Joshua Epstein joins Marathon to manage Export Sales for light automotive products in the U.S. and Canada. He brings extensive experience in both OEM and aftermarket channels, particularly in wheel and powertrain accessories. Mr. Epstein will focus on expanding sales for aluminum and steel wheels, shock absorbers, leaf springs, and clutches in the light automotive markets.
