Technical Sales Engineer

ZF is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer in our Vernon Hills, IL location.

Position Summary: Responsible for budgeted annual sales volume in US and Canada. Identify and solicit profitable new business while successfully managing established customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

Represent ZF at trade shows and related industry functions
Provide market intelligence for pricing, market share, and aftermarket trends to maintain competitive market position
Responsible to create and execute sales forecast and budget
Responsible for prospecting and new account set up and customer order processing utilizing a ERP system
Support independent rep agencies with sales calls, information exchange, and product changeovers.

Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree required or equivalent experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Effective Verbal and Written communication skills
Minimum 5 years industry specific experience
Up to 50% travel
