The new J.JUAN plant located in Sant Cugat is already fully operational and ready to become the World Brake Hub. The old Delphi units have been completely remodeled to accommodate the entire production process of brake systems.

The process of transferring the production units from the Gavà plant and the implementation of new technologies began in March 2017 and has just been completed during the last weeks.

From this plant Europe all the brakes to be exported to the United States and Europe are manufactured. In total, the plant of Sant Cugat welcomes 143 workers highly specialized in Brake Systems, which at the end of the year will be joined by the 48 workers in the electronic area of J.Juan.

The plant, even though it is at 60% of productive capacity, due to the adjustments that imply the implementation of new processes and cutting-edge technology, has expected a turnover of 25 million euros in 2019.

J.JUAN currently has six production centers, two in Gavá, specialized in hydraulic pipe and control cable; 2 plants in Sant Cugat del Valles, one specialized in brake systems and another specialized in electronic systems; one in China, where tubes and brake systems are produced. J.JUAN brakes are also produced at the CBI Plant in Pune (India).
