TROY, Mich. — As of 2022, PAGID Racing will be exclusively supplying the Toyota Gazoo Racing Iberian Cup with High Performance brake pads.
The newly created one-make rally series will have eight rounds in Spain and Portugal for its inaugural season. An evolution model of the proven PAGID Racing brake pad RST 5 will be used.
Initiated as a joint effort by Toyota and the Motor & Sport Institute (MSI), the Toyota Gazoo Racing Iberian Cup will have its inaugural season in 2022. From next year onwards, PAGID Racing will be exclusively supplying this new one-make rally series with High Performance brake pads.
In the debut season 2022, the Toyota Gazoo Racing Iberian Cup will have a total of eight rounds, four each in Spain and in Portugal.

As a competition car, the production-based Toyota GR Yaris RZ provides an ideal field for further development of the high-quality PAGID Racing brake pads. Throughout the development stage of the new car, valuable data could be collected that were implemented in the optimization of the brake pads. In the Toyota Gazoo Racing Iberian Cup, an evolution of PAGID Racing’s High Performance brake pad RST 5 will be used.
This evolution of the proven RST 5 has been tailor-made for the high demands in rallying. Thanks to its optimized temperature management, it provides an ideal performance from low up to extremely high temperatures. For instance, it has an outstanding cold-start performance. Its ideal heat transfer guarantees that the generated heat remains in the brake pad and doesn’t transfer to the brake fluid, which is making the RST 5 highly resistant against fluid fading.
