AMHERST, Ohio – KTM North America, Inc., is recalling certain model-year 2022 Husqvarna FE350 and FE501 motorcycles due to a potentially incorrectly installed brake-pad-retaining clip which could lead to reduced front-braking capability.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Part 573 Safety Recall Report 21V-678, some one (1) percent of the 342 motorcycles covered by this recall might have the incorrectly mounted “R” retaining clips on the front caliper.

The remedy is inspection at a Husqvarna dealer and, if necessary, the clip correctly installed.

Husqvarna dealers were alerted to the recall last month and owners are scheduled to be notified beginning Sept. 20.
