Hero MotoCorp has updated a number of its models with Integrated-Braking System (IBS). The update is mainly to help all models comply with the upcoming safety norms, which will come into effect from the 1st of April 2019. The brand has updated several of its models in its product lineup, this includes both motorcycles and scooters.
The updated motorcycles — Glamour programmed Fi, Passion Pro drum brake, Passion X Pro drum brake, Splendor Plus, Splendor Plus i3s, HF Deluxe self start and HF Deluxe i3s. The updated scooters, on the other hand, include Destini 125, Duet, Maestro Edge and Pleasure.
Apart from the IBS update, Hero has also updated the Xtreme 200R offering with a single-channel ABS. However, there are still a number of models in the lineup, yet to receive the additional IBS safety feature. The models yet to receive the Integrated-Braking system include the HF Dawn, HE Deluxe Eco, Passion Pro Disc, Passion X Pro Disc, Splendor Pro, Splendor iSmart Plus and the Glamour carburettor.
