The Global Brake Safety Council is Pleased to Announce Its Newest Member, Mr. Ian Featherstone of TMD Friction

Ian’s long history of accomplishments in the brake industry cover the entire range of automotive brake products and assignments in both Europe and North America, beginning with Commercial Vehicle applications in Great Britain. Today, as the Director for Research and Development for TMD AM, he oversees the ongoing evolution of TMD’s global portfolio of Aftermarket brake products, with the responsibility of developing products that meet the demanding levels of performance and safety needed for success in all of TMD’s world-wide markets.

“In a constantly evolving automotive market it is our job as friction experts to give end users products which meet the highest standards of safety and environmental regulations,” stated Ian. “It should be our aim/duty as industry leaders to insist on legislation that promotes best practice and consistent product control.”
