Fras-le Motorsport Plans 2018

Fras-le renews its partnership with Stock Car for the 2018 season as the official supplier of brake pads for the competition.

While the teams, pilots and mechanics prepare their super fast cars, Fras-le’s engineering department has innovated once again to continue offering the best in friction material for safe braking on high-speed tracks.

For these competition cars, the semi-metallic brake pad was specially developed using high-performance raw materials that provide friction stability under various braking conditions and high durability under high-temperature conditions of up to 850 °C. We present the exclusive mechanical anchoring technology in the metallic backing plate called FIMA®, guaranteeing the adherence of the friction material to the backing plate and eliminating the risk of shearing. All this to be able to stop these cars that rely on engines of 400cv of power and reach up to 250 km/hour on some circuits.
