FMSI Announces its 2018 Annual Meeting to Be Held in Longboat Key Fla. June 1st to June 4th

FMSI will be celebrating its 70th anniversary at our annual members meeting in Longboat key Florida says Frank Oliveto; Chairman of the Board of FMSI. Our Brake Weekend will be filled with special events and functions in collaboration with the BMC. Included is a golf outing and a golf scramble, A table top exhibition for supply partners, a guest panel discussion of OE Brake industry experts, and a salute to our industry Legends chaired by Jack Carney President of FDP Friction.

The FMSI officers and board will give an update on the modernization of the operating systems and procedures, as well as the progress of expanded services to members including expanding our Mexico Brake DATA with supply partner IDF. “INTERGRATED DATA FACTS” FMSI’ recent investment into a Keyence VR 3050 3D scanning machine and related CAD software and hardware to create 3D images and drawings, is another key step in our modernization efforts.

We are looking at new membership categories to expand our member base. The board will be discussing a more aggressive approach toward the mis-use and theft of the FMSI intellectual property.  New security measures for FMSI IP and websites are in the works.
