Eric Denys joins Meneta as North America GM

Eric Denys has joined Meneta as its new General Manager for North America. In this role he is responsible for Sales, Engineering, Production, and any other aspects of the business.

The industry veteran has spent 26 years in the brake field, including 16 years in brake shims. He has previously worked for Federal-Mogul, Material Sciences Corporation (MSC), and, most recently, Wolverine. Eric has a degree in NVH and has taught classes in Brake Noise and Vibration for SAE for the past seven years.

The BRAKE Report spoke with Eric on Friday, his second day as part of the Meneta team.

He cites Meneta’s expertise in reducing noise as one key factor in winning a larger portion of the North American market. “You get the business by solving customer noise issues,” Eric says. The other part of Eric’s recipe is a “combination of customer relationships, unique products, and great people.”

Eric says he looks forward to hearing from current and potential customers.

He reports directly to Meneta’s Group CEO, Kim Oestergaard, at Meneta’s headquarters in Denmark. “Eric brings a lot to the table that we will need in years to come – not only does he possess expertise in NVH solutions, ample business acumen, a strong drive and great market approach, but he also is a great fit to the Meneta family with his style of hard work and customer-orientation” says Oestergaard.
