DETROIT, (October 31, 2017) – Brembo, the world leader and acknowledged innovator of brake technology, will exhibit their comprehensive line of braking components for cars, trucks and performance/racing applications at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week, October 31 – November 3.
The Brembo exhibit at SEMA (#23561) will feature performance brake systems for the street, track and enthusiast. The company will display their aluminum brake calipers for the weekend racer, full performance brake kits, as well as the latest carbon technology featured on Formula 1 race cars.
In the SEMA New Product Display, the company will display GM Truck Performance Kit. The Brembo kit features the company’s iconic red six-piston, fixed aluminum calipers loaded with brake pads that clamp onto larger-than-stock (42% larger), 410 x 32mm (16.1-inch x 1.3-inch) Duralife™ vented rotors. The package offers an 84 percent increase in brake pad area to increase system thermal capacity. The package can be installed at the dealer, but it also includes all the necessary hardware and instructions for the do-it-yourself installer. The front brake system is available for any light-duty 2014+ Silverado/Sierra and light-duty 2015+ Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon/Yukon XL and the Cadillac Escalade with 20-inch – 22-inch original equipment or GM Accessory wheels.
At this year’s show, Brembo is inviting attendees to participate in the Brembo SEMA Discovery Challenge. Brembo Discovery Challenge participants will be asked to take photos of their favorite vehicles displayed throughout the show that feature Brembo brakes, then visit the Brembo exhibit (#23561) to take a selfie and share the photo on social media with the tag #bremboSEMA2017. Participants then show this to a Brembo representative in the booth to receive a prize and to enter for a chance to win a daily grand prize of a Brembo Swag travel bag full of branded goodies.
“This year, we have put a strong emphasis on increasing our footprint in the market, which we believe will strongly position Brembo for the future,” Dan Sandberg, Brembo North America president and CEO said. “We introduced the GM truck kit in the early summer, as well as expanded our genuine replacement rotors and pads that are currently offered through partnerships with AutoZone and Interamerican Motor Corporation (IMC) in the U.S. market, and Canadian Tire and PartSource in the Canadian market. As we move into 2018, we will continue to focus on making our braking components more readily available to the consumer.”
