- Number of Units Affected: 319

Details of the Recall
Altec is recalling 2024 AT, TA series aerial devices, and ST series spray bodies because the fuel and brake lines may not be properly secured, potentially causing them to rub against other components. This can result in leaks, which present serious safety hazards. A fuel leak could lead to fire, while a brake line leak could cause brake failure, risking accidents and injuries.
Owner Notifications and Remedy
Altec will provide owners with instructions for inspecting the fuel and brake lines. If lines are found to be improperly secured, Altec will issue a kit to fix the issue. If the lines are damaged, repairs will be carried out free of charge. Altec plans to notify owners by mail starting October 25, 2024.
