Beta Recalls Motorcycles to Fix Brake Hose

PASO ROBLES, Calif. – Beta USA is recalling certain model-year 2022 Beta 350RR-S, Beta 390 RR-S, Beta 430 RR-S and Beta 500-RR-S motorcycles to replace an incorrectly installed front brake hoses.

The recall population of 97 RR-S motorcycles were produced between Dec. 3 and Dec. 28, 2021, in the company’s Italian factory.

The safety risk, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Part 573 Safety Recall Report 22V-325, “Having the incorrect front brake hose installed can lead to the hose not getting enough free play and possibly getting caught onto the speedometer/ dash board. This can cause damage to the speedometer/dash board, and possibly disconnect the front brake hose which could lead to injury or harm.”

The remedy, which will be handled by a franchised dealer, is replacement of the incorrect hose with a correct one.

Dealers and owners were scheduled to be notified beginning May 16.
