Bajaj Auto Discontinues Dominar 400 Non-ABS Version, Makes Anti-Lock Braking System Standard

Bajaj Auto, the Pune-based two-wheeler maker, has withdrawn the non-ABS (anti-lock braking system) variant of its flagship model — the Dominar 400 — from the market. The decision to discontinue the model was taken in response to the poor demand for the variant.

The Dominar 400, a power cruiser from Bajaj, was launched in India in December 2016 with two variants — ABS and non-ABS. While the ABS variant has been in demand with over 80 percent of the sales coming from it, the non-ABS model of the Dominar 400 has appealed to merely 20 percent of the buyers.
