AUS: Holden Equinox Recalled Over Braking Issue

The Holden Equinox has been recalled in Australia over a potential issue with the rear brakes. The brand issued the recall to call back 53 Equinox models from the 2018 and 2019 model years.

Specifically, trapped hydrogen in the rear brakes of the Holden Equinox could lead to issues with braking performance. Holden said brake caliper pistons may release the hydrogen, thus leading to diminished braking performance. Holden said the issue has not led to any injuries.
